The Volcano Chase is all about finding volcanos and get to know the history of eruptions in Iceland. Eyjafjallajokull is a well know volcano but mt Hekla is probably the mountain that has erupted the most often since the settlement of Iceland in 874.
This is a two day tour and we will end in Reykjadalur where we will find natural hot springs and jump in for relaxation. The walk to Reykjadalur is about one hour walk and the same is when we go back to the parking lot.
USD 880 pr person, min booking four passengers. Two day tour.
Accommodation is not included. We will try to use our partner hotel UMI hotel under Eyjafjallajokull.
Katla ice-cave is an option on this tour and we recommend it.
